In 2015, AT&T completed the acquisition of DIRECTV. Both AT&T and DIRECTV were existing partners of Red Ventures, but the merger drastically changed our paid search and SEO strategy for each. In 2016, both companies rebranded to become uniform in messaging and style. This rebrand kick started a redesign of our top priority AT&T SEO site: attinternetservice.com.
Along with the rebrand, the companies refocused their marketing efforts around bundles. The Lead Copywriter and I implemented on the key goal, which was to increase response and conversion of Double Plays (TV + Internet) and Triple Plays (TV + Internet + home phone).
